Online learning can be highly beneficial if you can be consistent and self-disciplined in yourself. Pluralsight is a wonderful platform with some great features like learning paths and live mentor support. But not everything about the platform is pretty convincing. Read and find out if it suits your need.

I hope the following article will give you a clear idea regarding the platform, pricing, value, and the quality of the courses. I will also share my personal experience with the Pluralsight App and much more.

What is Pluralsight?

Pluralsight is an e-learning platform for technology-oriented folks looking for a career enhancement. The company is backed by 1000+ live mentors and 1000+ employees. Pluralsight uses sophisticated algorithms to track learners progress and provide a better learning experience for a user. For the businesses looking to improve skills of its teams or an individual seeking additional skills on his or her own, Pluralsight is a great opportunity.

PluralSight Review in Detail

Even though, there are plenty of platforms like Udemy, Coursera, and Lynda when I first saw Pluralsight advertisement it easily pulled my attention. Frankly saying, the first thing I liked about the platform was its interface which is damn cool.

The dark theme doesn’t try to such my eyes while watching videos and reading a blog.

Before going for an annual Pluralsight membership I decided to try my 10 days free trial which is available for everyone. The only thing you need to activate your free trial is a PayPal account with an active debit card or a credit card. Since the website seems promising I decided to give it a try.

How Much It Costs to Sign Up

Pluralsight membership costs around $30 per month or $299 per year. So the annual membership plan is available at 15% discount. The best thing about the pluralsight membership plans is, you can access as many courses as possible within this period.

Pluralsight even provides offline study option with it. More features included are notes, bookmarks, certificate of completion and channels. Membership plans come with a live mentor support in case you have doubts regarding your sessions. Live training is a totally different experience than e-learning as it provides interaction with the trainer.

For $30 a month or $1 per day, the platform is worth subscribing according to me which is less than a tea-cup per day.

Pluralsight Courses Review

Till this date (10th Aug, 2018) Pluralsight provides training in 8 different categories including Software development, IT Security, Creative designing, Business, and Data. New courses are added every day in different categories which are also accessible with your membership. The platform currently has around 5000 different courses in wide categories which are recorded with a great quality and care.

You can save your personal notes as you move in the course. Notes can be further exported in CSV format for your offline use.

Is Pluralsight Worth the Price?

In my opinion. Yes! Absolutely. $29 per month is less than $1 a day for unlimited access to more than 5000 different courses having the potential to boost your career goals tremendously.

They use intelligent algorithms to track progress and support while you learn. The courses are highly focused and in-depth. The trainers are well-established industry experts which makes it a value.

Due to all these reasons, Pluralsight stands out from other e-learning platforms like Lynda and Udemy.

No offense, Platforms like Coursera and Udemy are great. There are plenty of courses which might be better than Pluralsight. I personally loved “JavaScript: Understanding the Weird Parts” on Udemy.

However, If you are looking for a completely online school which can train you to become a pro in professional skills Pluralsight is an amazing opportunity.

Downsides of Pluralsight App

There is nothing in this world perfect. This review can’t be said as complete without discussing the downside of Pluralsight.

Some courses on Pluralsight need pre-requisites which sometimes feels bad. Also, I felt the speed of the instructor was a bit high in some courses. You will need to learn at the pace of instructor.

With the associated price and while comparing the overall performance I am totally satisfied with the Platform and I suggest you give it a try.

If you still have some doubts, I suggest you try yourself. Create a PayPal account if you don’t have a credit card, and your debit card detail and sign up for a monthly free trial on Pluralsight.

You will be redirected to Pluralsight App having your dashboard. You can access all the courses and read up to 200 minutes for 10 days with a free trial.

Conclusion: Is Pluralsight Good?

In my opinion, Yes! What do you think? Have you ever tried Pluralsight? Before making your opinion after reading some bad reviews about it, I suggest you check out by yourself. The course catalog is available on the website. If you are looking for an enhancement in some of the given skillsets, go, sign-up and try by yourself.

You can also use their discussion forum associated with each topic if you have any doubts and you can help others in many ways.
